How to upgrade your PrestaShop modules using PrestaHero Connect

To help you manage and upgrade your installed Presta Hero modules easier, we’ve released PrestaHero Connect – a free PrestaShop module that enables you to discover all available modules on the Presta Hero marketplace. You can directly manage your installed modules from PrestaHero Connect configuration page and upgrade your modules when a new release version is available.

In this article, we will guide you on how to use PrestaHero Connect to upgrade your installed modules.

Step 1:

In your PrestaShop back office, go to “Modules > Module Manager” and find “PrestaHero Connect” module > Click “Configure” button

Step 2:

You will need to connect with Presta Hero to receive the upgrade for all modules you purchased from our site.
Click on “Connect to Presta Hero” button > A popup will appear, please enter your Presta Hero account and click “Connect”

Step 3:

The module list will be loaded. If there is an available upgrade for your module, the “To upgrade” menu tab will appear.
Click on “To upgrade” menu tab.

A list of modules that are able to upgrade will be displayed. Click on the “Upgrade” button, and PrestaHero Connect will automatically download and install the newly released version into your website.
