Configuring Display Conditions and Display Positions for the Responsive Newsletter Popup Module

After setting up the General Settings for the Responsive Newsletter Popup module, the next step is to configure the Display Conditions and Display Positions. These settings allow you to define when the popup should appear and on which pages it should be displayed. Properly configuring these options ensures that your newsletter popup reaches your target audience at the right time and place.

1. Conditions Tab

The Conditions tab lets you control the timing and frequency of your newsletter popup display. Below are the options you can configure:

Popup lifetime (display popup in) (min): Define the duration (in minutes) for which the newsletter popup will be shown after a customer visits your website. If this field is left blank, the popup will display continuously unless the customer selects "Do not show this again".

End popup lifetime when customer closes popup: Enable this option to stop displaying the popup after the customer closes it. If enabled, the popup will only reappear if a value is set for "Redisplay popup after".

Display popup again after (min): Specify the time interval (in minutes) after which the popup should be redisplayed once its lifetime has ended. Setting this to "0" will hide the popup permanently after its lifetime ends.

Delay start (milliseconds): This option allows you to delay the appearance of the popup by a specific number of milliseconds after the customer finishes loading the website. Leave this field blank to display the popup immediately after the page load is complete.

Auto end popup lifetime after the first time a customer sees it: Enable this setting to automatically end the popup’s lifetime after the customer has seen it for the first time.

Do not display a newsletter popup if a customer has logged in: Use this option to prevent the newsletter popup from being shown to customers who are already logged in.

Hide popup on mobile devices: Enable this option to hide the popup on mobile devices, ensuring that it only appears on desktop versions of your website.

Available date from: Set the start date for when the popup should begin displaying. Leave it blank if you want the popup to be active immediately.

Available date to: Set the end date for when the popup should stop displaying. Leave it blank if you don't want to specify an end time.

2. MISC Tab

The MISC tab is an essential part of the Responsive Newsletter Popup module, allowing you to control the visibility of your newsletter popup across your website. It gives you the flexibility to choose exactly which pages will display the popup. This feature is useful for targeting your audience more effectively, ensuring that the popup appears on pages where it can have the most impact.

Configuring the display conditions and display positions is crucial for ensuring that your newsletter popup appears at the right time and place. By fine-tuning these settings, you can optimize the effectiveness of your popups and enhance the user experience on your website.
