Getting Started with Promotion PRO - Cronjob Settings
To ensure the smooth functioning of your promotions and maintain an organized discount system, it's essential to set up cronjobs. This guide will walk you through the steps to configure cronjobs in the Promotion PRO module to automatically delete expired or used discount codes.
Accessing the cronjob settings
From your PrestaShop admin panel, navigate to the module configuration page. Select Settings >> Cronjob page.
Important notes before setting up a cronjob:
- Cronjob frequency: It should be set to run at least twice per day. The recommended frequency is once per minute for optimal performance.
- Server differences: The setup process may vary depending on your server. Alternatively, contact your hosting provider for support on setting up the cronjob.
Configuring the cronjob
To automatically delete expired or used discount codes, set up a cronjob on your server with the command provided by the Promotion PRO module:
