How to Export/Import Instagram Data for Backup Purposes

The INS Shopping Slider module for PrestaShop allows you to seamlessly integrate your Instagram content into your online store. To ensure the safety of your data, it's important to know how to export and import Instagram data for backup purposes. This guide will walk you through the process, enabling you to secure your data and restore it whenever necessary.

Exporting Instagram data for backup

Step 1: Open the INS Shopping Slider module configuration page in your PrestaShop back office.

Step 2: In the module's main menu, click on the "IMPORT/EXPORT" tab.

Step 3: In the "Export Instagram data" section on the left, click the "Export Instagram" button to export all Instagram data, including all settings, photos, videos, texts, and tags.

Importing Instagram data to restore

Step 1: On the "IMPORT/EXPORT" tab, look at "Import Instagram data" section.

Step 2: Click the "Browse" button and select the Instagram data file you previously exported.

Step 3: Click the "Import Instagram" button.

Step 4: Click "Save" to confirm the import.

Note: Importing new data will delete all current INS Shopping Slider configurations and product tags in the shop. Therefore, it is highly recommended to export the current Instagram data as a backup before importing new data. Simply click the "Export Instagram" button to create a backup.
