Configuring reward usage settings

The “Reward Usage” tab in "Reward Settings" includes several options to customize how rewards can be used by your wholesale customers. Below are the detailed steps and explanations for each option. We also provide you with examples for you to easily understand!

Let’s check!

  • Allow wholesale customers to pay for their orders using reward balance: Enable this option to allow wholesale customers to use their reward balance to pay for their orders.

Example: Setting: Yes -> Wholesale customers can use their reward points to pay for their next orders, making it easier for them to make repeat purchases.

  • Minimum reward balance required to be usable to pay for order (USD): Set the minimum reward balance required for customers to use it for the checkout process. Leave blank to allow customers to use their reward balance without any limit.

Example: Setting: 50 -> Customers need to accumulate at least $50 worth of rewards before they can use them to pay for an order. This ensures customers make multiple purchases to build up their reward balance.

  • Maximum reward balance can be used to pay for each order (USD): Set the maximum reward balance that can be used to pay for each order. Leave blank to allow customers to use any amount of their reward balance for orders.

Example: Setting: 200 -> Customers can use up to $200 of their reward balance per order. This cap ensures you do not lose too much revenue on any single order.

  • Allow customers to convert reward balance into voucher: Enable this option to allow customers to convert their reward balance into a voucher, which they can use during the checkout process.

Example: Setting: Yes -> Customers can convert their rewards into vouchers, which they can use when checkout.

  • Minimum reward balance required to be usable to convert into voucher (USD): Set the minimum reward balance required for customers to convert it into a voucher. Leave blank to allow customers to convert their reward balance without any limit.

Example: Setting: 30 -> Customers need to have at least $30 in rewards to convert them into a voucher. This helps manage small reward balances effectively.

  • Maximum reward balance that can be converted into voucher (each time) (USD): Set the maximum reward balance that can be converted into a voucher each time. Leave blank to allow customers to convert any amount of their reward balance into a voucher code.

Example: Setting: 150 -> Customers can convert up to $150 worth of rewards into a voucher at one time, encouraging them to make larger purchases.

  • Display "Convert voucher" message in shopping cart: Enable this option to display a message in the shopping cart prompting customers to convert their reward balance into a voucher.

Example: Setting: Yes -> A message appears in the shopping cart reminding customers to convert their rewards into vouchers, increasing the likelihood they use their rewards.

  • Discount name: Specify the name of the discount that will appear when customers use their reward balance as a voucher.

Example: Setting: “Converted from commission balance” -> The discount applied when using rewards is named “Converted from commission balance” making it clear to customers why they are receiving the discount.

  • Allow customers to withdraw rewards: Enable this feature to allow customers to withdraw their reward balance to their bank account, PayPal account, Amazon gift card, etc. Create withdrawal methods in the "Withdrawal methods" tab.

Example: Setting: Yes -> Customers can withdraw their reward balance to their bank account or other payment methods, giving them more options and increasing satisfaction.

  • Minimum reward balance required to be usable to withdraw (USD): Set the minimum reward balance required for customers to withdraw their rewards. Leave blank to allow customers to withdraw their reward balance without any limit.

Example: Setting: $100 -> Customers need at least $100 in rewards to make a withdrawal. This encourages them to make more purchases to reach this threshold.

  • Maximum amount can withdraw each request (USD): Set the maximum amount of reward balance that customers can withdraw each time. Leave blank to allow customers to withdraw any amount of their reward balance.

Example: Setting: 500 -> Customers can withdraw up to $500 in rewards per request, preventing large, frequent withdrawals that could impact your cash flow.

  • Require invoice: Enable this option to require customers to submit an invoice when they withdraw their reward balance.

Example: Setting: Yes -> Customers must submit an invoice for each withdrawal request, ensuring proper documentation and verification.

  • Require customer to wait until the last pending withdrawal request to be processed to submit a new one: Enable this option to limit customers to submit a new withdrawal request only after the last one has been processed.

Example: Setting: Yes -> Customers must wait until their current withdrawal request is processed before submitting another one. This helps manage the processing workload and ensures each request is handled properly.
