Step 5: Setting Up Reward Status in Wholesale B2B Module

Welcome to Step 5 of our guide on setting up the Wholesale B2B module. In this article, we will explain how to configure reward status settings for your PrestaShop store. These settings allow you to control how and when rewards are created, validated, or canceled based on order statuses.

Configuring reward status settings

Reward will be created with "Pending" status if order status is

This setting determines the order statuses that will generate a reward with a "Pending" status. For example, you can set rewards to be created with a "Pending" status if the order status is:

  • Awaiting check payment
  • Awaiting payment
  • Processing in progress

Example: If you set the status "Awaiting payment" as a trigger for a "Pending" reward, whenever an order is marked as "Awaiting payment," a reward will be created with a "Pending" status.

Reward will be created with "Approved" status if order status is

This setting specifies the order statuses that will generate a reward with an "Approved" status. For example, you can set rewards to be created with an "Approved" status if the order status is:

  • Delivered
  • Shipped

Example: If you set the status "Delivered" as a trigger for an "Approved" reward, whenever an order is marked as "Delivered," a reward will be created with an "Approved" status.

Only validate reward if order has been changed to statuses above for

This setting ensures that the reward status remains "Pending" until the specified number of days has passed since the order status changed to one of the statuses above. Leave this field blank for instant reward validation. Note that setting up a cronjob is required for this feature to work.

Example: you set this field with 7 days. If an order status changes to "Delivered," the reward will remain "Pending" for 7 days before being validated.

Cancel reward if order status is

This setting allows you to specify order statuses that will cancel the reward. For example, you can set rewards to be canceled if the order status is:

  • Canceled
  • Refunded
  • Payment error

Example: If you set the status "Canceled" as a trigger to cancel rewards, whenever an order is marked as "Canceled", any pending rewards associated with that order will be canceled.

Setting up reward status in the Wholesale B2B module allows you to manage rewards based on order status changes effectively.
