How to transfer PretaHero's module license?

Today I will help you better understand PrestaHero's license and how to transfer it!

What is PrestaHero’s license?

When you purchase any module from PrestaHero, you will receive a license with the right to use the module on the website you have registered.

The license includes important information such as the licensor's Author, licensee, purchased product, Product URL, license ID, registered website, and what you can/ cannot do,...

Each product will have only 1 license and be used for only 1 website. So, for some reason, such as if you develop a website for your client, you completely can transfer the license of the module to your client.

How to transfer a license

To transfer a license, the transferee must agree to receive and register an account on PrestaHero. Follow the steps below to transfer your license:

1. Log into your account and go to “Your account > My downloads”.

2. You will see the list of modules that you downloaded here. Click on the “Transfer license” button of the module you want to transfer.

4. Enter the email of the transferee and click on the “Transfer” button.

5. The system will confirm again via popup. If you are sure you want to transfer the license, please click "OK"  to continue.

6. An email will be sent to the transferee. The transferee needs to click on “View license” to open it.

7. The transferee clicks on "Accept transfer" to receive the module.

8. After receiving the transfer, the transferee can download the module from PretaHero, download the license or transfer it to others if needed.

Note: After the transfer, you will no longer be able to use the module.
