These rules can be applied based on various conditions, such as customer details, location, cart content, and specific occasions. I. Adding a new condition

To add a new condition to your shipping rule, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the module configuration page and select the “Shipping cost rule” tab.
  • Click "Add new shipping rule" or edit an existing one.
  • Configure until you reach Step 2 - Conditions.
  • Choose "How to combine shipping rule conditions" (AND/OR).
  • Click "Add new condition" to start adding a new condition for your shipping rule.

The Shipping Cost Pro module supports a variety of conditions that allow you to tailor shipping rules based on customer characteristics, location, cart content, and more. Here are the detailed explanations and examples for each condition:

Specific customer

Select specific customers who can use this shipping rule by searching their ID, name, or email.

Example: Apply a free shipping rule only for Shaun. Search his name or email address to add him to the shipping rule.

 

Customer group

Select customer groups that can use this shipping rule.

Example: Offer a 20% discounted shipping rate to members of the "Gold" group.

  

Customer registration time

Set a registration time (From - to) and the number of days since registration that customers need to meet to use this shipping rule.

Example:

Provide free shipping for customers who registered from 15/05/2024 to 15/06/2024. This means that customers who have been registered for 3 days or more (counting from their registration date) within the period from 15/05/2024 to 15/06/2024 will be eligible to use this shipping rule.

 

Zone

Select the zone(s) where you want to apply this shipping cost rule.

Example: Offer discounted shipping in specific regions like "North America" and "Europe".

 

Country

Select the countries within that zone to which you want this shipping cost rule to apply.

Example: Apply this shipping rule to all orders shipped to the United States and Canada.

 

State

Filter by zone and country first, then select the state(s) to which you want this shipping cost rule to apply.

Example: Offer reduced shipping rates for orders shipped within the state of California.

 

Zip code/Postal code

Set conditions based on ZIP codes/postal codes that customers must meet to use this shipping rule. When customers enter a delivery address with a ZIP code/postal code that satisfies the condition, the shipping rule will be applied to their shopping cart.

  • From - to: The ZIP code/postal code in the customer's delivery address is within the specified range.
  • Start from/end at: The ZIP code/postal code in the customer's delivery address starts from or ends at the specified code.
  • Is exactly: The ZIP code/postal code in the customer's delivery address matches the specified code.
  • Different: The ZIP code/postal code in the customer's delivery address is different from the specified code.

Example: Offer free shipping for ZIP codes starting with 123.

 

Cart amount

Set the total cart value that customers need to satisfy to use the shipping rule.

Example: Provide free shipping for orders with a total value of $100 or more.

  

Product in cart

Customers whose shopping cart meets these conditions will be able to use the shipping cost rule. The conditions for products in the cart can vary, as detailed in the table below:
