Why Can't My Wholesale Customer Use Reward Balance to Pay for Their Orders?
If your wholesale customer is having trouble using their reward balance to pay for their orders, it could be due to a few configuration settings in the Reward Usage tab. Follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Enable reward balance usage
Make sure the option "Allow wholesale customers to pay for their order using reward balance" is enabled.
- Go to Modules > Module Manager > Wholesale B2B > Configure.
- Navigate to Settings > Reward settings.
- Click on the Reward usage tab.
- Enable "Allow wholesale customers to pay for their order using reward balance" option.
Check customer's reward balance conditions
Verify if the customer's reward balance meets the conditions set in the following options:
- Minimum reward balance required to be usable to pay for order: Ensure the customer's reward balance meets the minimum reward balance required to be usable to pay for order. The customer's reward balance must be equal to or greater than this value.
- Maximum reward balance can be used to pay for each order: This setting limits the maximum amount of reward balance that can be used for a single order. Ensure the customer's reward balance does not exceed this maximum value per order.
Example
Let's consider a scenario with the following settings:
- Minimum reward balance required to be usable to pay for order: $50
- Maximum reward balance can be used to pay for each order: $200
If your customer, John, has a reward balance of $40, he will not be able to use it for payment because it does not meet the minimum requirement of $50. Conversely, if John has a reward balance of $250, he will only be able to use up to $200 for each order due to the maximum limit.
