Step 2: Configuring General Settings for Reward Settings in the Wholesale B2B Module

The “General” tab in “Reward Settings” includes several options to customize how rewards are earned and calculated for your wholesale customers. Below are the detailed steps and explanations for each option.

Allow wholesale customers to earn rewards when purchasing products: Enable this option to allow wholesale customers to earn rewards on their purchases.

 

Applicable wholesale levels: Choose which wholesale levels are eligible to earn rewards. Only customers in the selected levels will receive rewards for their purchases.

 

How to calculate reward?

  • Based on the percentage of total product price: Calculate rewards as a percentage of the total price of purchased products.
  • Give a fixed amount for each purchased product: Provide a fixed reward amount for each product purchased.

Note: This is a global setting for all products. You can set specific options for individual products on the product edit page under the "Wholesale" tab.

 

Reward type:

  • General reward range for all wholesale levels: Apply a common reward range for all wholesale levels.
  • Particular reward range for each wholesale level: Set different reward ranges for each wholesale level.

Reward ranges:

  • Starting at (units) - Reward value: Define the reward ranges and corresponding values.
  • Click the "Add new reward range" button to open the "Add reward range" popup and fill in the details.

 

Applicable product categories:

  • All product categories: Apply rewards to all product categories.
  • Specific product categories: Limit rewards to selected product categories.

Note: Wholesale customers will earn rewards when they purchase products in the selected categories.

 

Include specific products: Specify products that will always earn rewards, even if they are not in the selected categories above.

 

Exclude specific products: Specify products that will not earn rewards, even if they are in the selected categories above.

 

Multiply reward by product quantity: Enable this option to multiply the total reward by the quantity of products purchased. The reward amount for one product unit will be multiplied by the number of products bought.

 

Exclude tax before calculating reward: Enable this option to exclude tax amounts before calculating the reward.

 

Do not give rewards if wholesale customers buy discounted products: Disable rewards for discounted products if this option is enabled.

 

Recalculate reward when admin adds/edits order: Enable this option to recalculate rewards when an admin adds or edits an order.

 

Maximum reward amount per order (USD): Set a limit for the maximum reward amount that can be given per order.

 

Reward availability: Define the number of days a reward is valid. Leave blank to make the reward available indefinitely. If you set a value, ensure to set up a cronjob to update the reward status when this condition is met.
